Paper Not Pixels is a concept for an event hosted by Rymans, the high-street stationery retailer, intended to reposition them as experts in paper and craft in order to help them stand out in an increasingly digital world.

The event is a celebration of paper, with demonstrations and workshops on all the different ways to use paper, for example origami or book-binding.

The concept for the campaign was to create each individual element out of paper and have ‘anti-digital’ messaging running throughout, playing on the idea that, in contrast to technology which can be confusing and scary, there is something beautifully simple, reassuring and nostalgic about paper.
